Nursery

We love our littles at First Congregational Church, and offer quality childcare for infants and children up to four years old. Our nursery is staffed by an experienced team who have been vetted and background checked. Kids coming into the Nursery are welcomed by two staff members who will supervise their playtime with books, toys, and music. The Nursery is available from 9:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. on Sundays.

Your family's privacy is important to us. Please let the office know if you do not want photos to appear in social media or on our website: office@fortworthucc.org

Children

Sundays, 11:00 a.m.-11:55 a.m., 2nd Floor, September-May, and at various times throughout the year

Adventure Village is for children K-5th grade. Our children are nurtured in the development of their relationship with God, Earth, and their unique sense of spirituality by engaging in a variety of activities that serve to guide their spirits toward a greater sense of self-awareness and contemplation of God. The curriculum we use is Godly Play.

Youth

Sundays, 11:00 a.m.-11:55 a.m., Youth Room, September-May, and at various times throughout the year

With a focus on building faith and community, and service to others, our youth have many opportunities to grow in their spiritual journeys while still having a lot of fun! First Congo youth is open to 6th through 12th graders.

Adult Education

Sundays, 11:00 a.m.-11:55 a.m., Parlor, September-May

A traditional “Sunday school” may evoke memories of a set curriculum with little discussion or questioning of ideas, but not in our Adult Ed class! You can expect lively discussion where your questions are welcomed. Facilitated by a variety of people on a variety of topics—both secular and religious—this class is designed to make you think. Come with your questions, comments, or confusions; your ideas will be respected and so will you.
