Connect with the World

Prayer Partners

One of the most valuable gifts we can offer one another and our world is prayer. If your schedule won’t allow you to attend meetings, consider joining this group open to everyone. Prayer requests are sent via email allowing Prayer Partners to connect wherever they are.

Room in the Inn

ROOM IN THE INN is open during the hottest and coldest months, weekly from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning at South Hills Christian Church.

NAMIWalks

Each year, the FCC team walks in memory of Benjamin November and others who have struggled with mental illness--to raise awareness and to raise funds for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). NAMI is a grassroots organization that provides services to individuals and families and--most importantly--lets everyone know that they are not alone. Contact office@fortworthucc.org for more information.

Tarrant County Pride Parade and Street Festival

First Saturday in October

As an open and affirming congregation, FCC participates in the Tarrant County Pride Parade each October to let the LGBTQ community and our city know there is a local church that will embrace them. Everyone is encouraged to be a part of this special day!

Fourth of July Parade

Come join the Westcliff Neighborhood Fourth of July parade starting at 10:00 a.m. on Independence Day. The parade begins in the First Congregational parking lot, then tours through the neighborhood.

Our Church's Wider Mission

Our Church's Wider Mission (OCWM) changes lives by strengthening our ecumenical relationships and global partnerships, by imagining and embodying a better world through prophetic witness and work, and by providing resources and programs to nurture the vitality of our United Church of Christ congregations.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

If you knit or crochet (or want to learn how!), you can use your talents to make prayer shawls. These "chicks with sticks" offer handmade gifts to those who need encouragement during difficult times. They meet on the first and third Thursdays of the month at 1:00 p.m. here at FCC.
