Global Ministries

Global Ministries is a joint mission program between the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ. Global Ministries works with approximately 290 faith-based international partners in close to 90 countries to work for justice, reconciliation and peace.

With partner churches, nonprofit organizations, and ecumenical bodies throughout the world, we share life, resources, support, and faith. This often includes advocacy work, opportunities for mutual exchange and learning, sharing of mission personnel and financial and material resources, and being in prayer for and with international partners. Join us in realizing our vision that all of God’s people and creation share in God’s abundant life.

Room in the Inn

During the hottest months (July and August) and coldest months (December, January and February) of the year, host congregations around Fort Worth open their doors to men experiencing homelessness in our community.

We provide a comfortable space for our neighbors to enjoy a restful evening, including two warm meals, fellowship and a peaceful night's sleep.

FCC partners with South Hill Christian Church to host 5 men, each Wednesday evening through Thursday morning, during the summer and winter.  Our guests prescreen and register through True Worth.

We welcome your participation in this important mission. Your services will be greatly appreciated by our guests and you will receive much in return!
