Thinking about joining us for worship? Here are some things you can expect...

We have a live and virtual option. Our worship services are lively and meaningful. Go to the home page and check out all the various ways you can join us live, or view our services at a later time when it's more convenient.

When we say "You are welcome here," we mean it! Everyone. Gay, straight, richer, poorer, every skin color, every nationality and culture. That’s just how we roll.

We believe it's possible to be serious about our faith and informal in our approach. Come as you are. If you're online and  worshiping via YouTube, you can attend church in your PJs! Or put on a suit and tie-just be you.

We won't tell you who to vote for, but we are going to talk about real life and current events. That's where the rubber meets the road in our faith. And, just so you know, we do believe the cross leans to the left.

We celebrate the sacrament of communion (i.e., the Lord’s Supper, the Eucharist, the bread and the cup). You are invited to participate—if you want—whether you've been baptized or not. We believe the table belongs to Jesus, not us, and he's the one who invites you to "taste and see the goodness of God."

We generally celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month.

Our worship is liturgical, meaning we celebrate the seasons of the church year from Advent to Lent to Easter to Pentecost, but...

Expect change. Embrace surprises and look for new encounters-you never know what you may find on a Sunday.

ADVENTURE VILLAGE

Sundays, 11:00 a.m. in Adventure Village, scheduled to return on September 18th. Until then, join us for Children's Time in the Worship hour.

Adventure Village is for children K-5th grade. Our children are nurtured in the development of their relationship with God, Earth, and their unique sense of spirituality by engaging in a variety of activities that serve to guide their spirits toward a greater sense of self-awareness and contemplation of God.

Youth

YOUTH

Sundays at 11:00 a.m. during the school year we meet in the Youth Room on the second floor. Meeting now.

With a focus on building faith and community, and service to others, our youth have many opportunities to grow in their spiritual journeys while still having a lot of fun! FCC youth is open to 6th through 12th graders.

Adults

ADULT EDUCATION

Sundays, 11:00 a.m. in the Parlor, scheduled to return on September 18th.

A traditional “Sunday school” may evoke memories of a set curriculum with little discussion or questioning of ideas, but not in our Adult Ed class! You can expect lively discussion where your questions are welcomed. Facilitated by a variety of people on a variety of topics—both secular and religious—this class is designed to make you think. Come with your questions, comments, or confusions; your ideas will be respected and so will you.
