Thinking about joining us for worship? Here are some things you can expect...

When we say "You are welcome here," we mean it! Everyone. Gay, straight, richer, poorer, every skin color, every nationality and culture. That means you may see couples of all kinds holding hands in the pews. That’s just how we roll.

We believe it's possible to be serious about our faith and informal in our approach. Wear what is most comfortable. Jeans and T-shirts are fine and so are jackets and ties. Just be you.

Children are welcome. We believe children aren't the future of the church; they're the church right now. We also know they wiggle and laugh and drop things. We’re good with that. We even have and stuffed toys and chalk boards and stuff for them to color.

We won't tell you who to vote for, but we are going to talk about real life and current events. That's where the rubber meets the road in our faith. And, just so you know, we do believe the cross leans to the left.

We celebrate the sacrament of communion (i.e., the Lord’s Supper, the Eucharist, the bread and the cup) on the first Sunday of the month and on a few other occasions. You are invited to share—if you want—whether you've been baptized or not. We believe the table belongs to Jesus, not us, and he's the one who invites you to "taste and see the goodness of God." Sometimes we use wine and juice, but we’ll let you know ahead of time. We also offer a gluten-free option.

Our worship is liturgical, meaning we celebrate the seasons of the church year from Advent to Lent to Easter to Pentecost, but...

Expect change. Embrace surprises. Light sabers. Ukuleles. Special guests—some famous! A drum circle. You just never know what you may find on a Sunday.

We do a lot of singing. We have a choir, a house band, an pianist, a hand bell choir, a ukulele group, but our focus is helping everyone in the congregation find his or her or their own voice.
